Chang'e 4 will be China's second lunar lander and rover. The spacecraft is named after the Chinese Moon goddess. This will be the first mission to attempt soft landing on the far side of the Moon.   The total landing mass is 1,200 kg. After landing, the lander will deploy a ramp to deliver the rover to the lunar surface.The rover measures 1.5 × 1.0 × 1.0 m and has a mass of 140 kg.
